Dear Parents,
The NSW Government has extended strict social distancing laws until June 29. The NSW Department of Education is preparing for the majority of its students to work from home using computers. As a result, my classroom will remain closed for Term 2.
Term 2 courses will be available only in electronic form at a special price of $600 per student (Early bird price). I have extended this Early bird special until April 11th.The work in electronic form is exactly the same as that given for homework and includes second drafts and assessments.
How does the electronic course work?
1. Booklets and assessment tasks are posted on this website. This is done on a weekly basis, not all at once.
2. Students download work from this website in pdf form OR it can be emailed with pdf attachments.
3. Homework must be completed within 7 days.
4. Students complete the work on a computer in much the same way as we fill out online forms, such as for taxation.
5. The work is then saved and emailed to me: info@advancedinstruction.com.au
6. I mark each student's work electronically.
7. The marked work is emailed back to students.
8. At the end of the term, parents are sent a report on student achievement.
Term 1 conclusion
I am uploading Week 10/holiday tasks here. They can also be completed electronically.I have not have any success receiving completed booklets as photographs. PLEASE DO NOT SEND PHOTOGRAPHS. My printer has huge difficulties compressing these files.
